Lockheed Martin approached Spraybake enquiring about the supply and installation of a spray booth to paint aerospace components

Spraybake attended site to discuss preliminary details

A CAD drawing encompassing the requirement was prepared by Spraybake and supplied to the client

A further meeting was undertaken to clarify the fine detail and a revised drawing supplied

Order placed by client

A pre-install visit was undertaken to plan the installation

Installation programme agreed with client

Internal production plan agreed

Spraybake internal project processes undertaken, such as raising bills of materials, undertaking inhouse manufacture of main booth control panel and ordering materials. All processes in accordance with ISO 9001 (2015)

Plant hire organised

Existing booth dismantled and disposed of (skips)

Booth and components delivered to site and offloaded into facility

New booth installed

Booth commissioned

Operator training given

Vigorous testing undertaken. Client requirement was to achieve stated temperature +/- 6 degrees c in every zone of the booth

Booth handed over to client

Operating manuals and relevant LEV, EPA and COSHH certification supplied
